Grade 5 is the most widely stocked SAE fastener grade in fleet, industrial, and construction environments. At 120,000 PSI minimum tensile strength, it handles the large majority of structural connections, equipment mounting, and general maintenance work — applications where a Grade 2 isn't strong enough but Grade 8 strength isn't required.
